Hasselblad Flextight’s First Scan

Mannum Cottage, Murry River, South Australia

Today I received my Hasselblad Flextight after repairs from CR Kennedy in Melbourne.

This is my first scan from the scanner and it is so easy to use, I just loaded my film did a few corrections, I.e. density and contrast and 8 minutes later I had a 16bit 500mb TIFF file from the scanner. I am going to play with it a little more and as I watch the tutorial again I will add more features about the scanner and what else it can do to this post. But my first impression and one I already new, which is the quality of these scanners, are amazing.

I also read the report on what happened and is says that the left hand side pressure roller was found to be out of alignment and was jamming against the drum. Peter at CR Kennedy had it fixed in one day and I had it back 5 days later. Great job Peter and thank you.
